The first thought in my head when I wake up on Mondays is “where did the weekend go?” The precious time we have towards the end of the week to rest, enjoy time with our loved ones and reflect is fleeting and never seems long enough.
I spent much needed time with my dad and basked in the joy of simple moments this past weekend.
The weather wasn’t ideal but it didn’t put a damper on my mood, instead I was just reminded even more of just how beautiful God’s creation are despite the cold and dreary sky.
I spent my sunday in this outfit and it’s no surprise that I’m wearing shorts. Weekend attire should be comfortable and since I spent the day lounging around with my boyfriend, I wasn’t dressed to impress.
I paired a mauve pink and rusty orange with olive green because it reminded me of one of my favorite things, a sunset. Sunsets are the only kind of surprises I like, it looks everyday different day and is always breathtaking. Sometimes the sky turns orange and the water takes on green hue from the lack of sun, it’s not the usual color combination but I appreciate the oddity.
