The mini skirt was my college staple for the typical night outs. Since graduating college my style has evolved and it’s been neglected . But it’s somehow found it’s way back into my life and I’ve struggled with ways to wear it for appropriate daytime looks while still being conservative. This skirt is everything, obviously because of the color block of my favorite colors. Since this mini is form fitting, I paired it with a oversized boyfriend fit chambray. I think the trick to working minis during the day is balance : between loose/tight and boyish/flirty. You wanna dress the mini down since it’s typically an evening piece. This oversized denim shirt added the perfect casual vibe. I can’t wait to wear this skirt with an oversized sweater and knee high boots for winter.
P.s. I’m playing around with colors for my pictures, what do you think of this vintage-y look?
Thank you so much for reading! Love, H
