The Hanh Solo

Pastel Plaid

Plaid/ Tartan (interchangeable words for the same type of pattern) is making a comeback this fall, along with other key 90′s styles but to be honest, I’ve never really been attracted to plaid. If you’re like me and find plaid overwhelming, go for simpler patterns with thinner lines and pair it with bottoms of the same color palette. I love this sheer pastel plaid because of it’s subtle pattern. And because the neutral colors make it so easy to pair with other patterns and doesn’t scream lumberjack woman (sorry, it’s just what comes to mind when I see plaid). Keeping a monochromatic look, I paired it with white cropped skinnies and my new favorite nude pumps from zara.

The two necklaces in I’m wearing in this post have been on daily rotation. When I was approached by My Monogram Necklaces to design my own piece, I was beyond excited. I loved the idea of having a personalized piece but never found a design I liked enough. I added the circular frame around the letters to give it cleaner look and chose 14k gold plating. I personalized it with my blog initials (go #teamhanhsolo !….just kidding). The beautifully simple drop bar necklace from SwellMayde needs no explanation, it’s the perfect layering piece.

Thank you so much for reading! Love, H
