A Dance with the Sunset

The way the sun shone through the sheer material, manipulating the pastel digital print into various patterns and shades…..
The way the wind breathed life into the skirt and playfully danced with the golden light…

When I first saw this skirt, I was drawn to the step hem asymmetrical cut. I loved it that was shorter on one side and a longer than the other and I hadn’t seen anything like it before.

The print was romantic yet subtle enough that I could wear it for various occasions.
I paired it with this simple lace sleeved top and black pumps for an evening look.
I could easily wear this skirt for a casual look by pairing it with a simple tee, brown sandals and summer hat. Maxi skirts are so versatile and I highly recommend owning one. Because maxi skirts are looser fitting on bottom, I always pair them with a fitted top or a looser cropped top to avoid the “frumpy” look. Another trick to wearing the maxi skirt successfully for a casual look, is in the length. Unless you’re supermodel height, most people need them hemmed. I suggest hemming it so it hits right at the top of your feet.
Thank you so much for reading!

Aren’t asymmetrical maxi skirts just the best of both worlds? I love how you styled this so elegantly and agree that this skirt can be worn casually as well. Very stunning look <3
