Playing with Textures

Summer is quickly approaching and this perforated peplum top is perfect for the sweltering heat. I love the button detail and how the peplum splits open. I like the idea of peplum tops but feel as if they never look quite right on me. I don’t really know what is, perhaps its the tighter fit that is characteristic of most or how formal they look. I think I love this one because it’s looser fitting and easier to dress down.

I absolutely love these pants I recently found at H&M because I had been looking for dressier black skinnies for a while. I prefer ankle length pants because I can fit it perfectly without having to get it hemmed. The subtle jacquard texture and gold zip details was exactly what I had dreamt of. Now onto this beautiful clutch….I’M OBSESSED. I normally like monochromatic and simpler accessories but this just caught my eye because of much of gypsy/boho vibe it had and how it can easily bring excitement to my mundane wardrobe. I love all the eclectic colors, silver pieces and fringe things on it.

Thank you so much for reading!

Love, Hanh

This is such a cute monochromatic outfit! I love the little details on those H&M pants and the perforated details adds a tougher edge to the peplum silhouette! I agree with you on the ankle pants. I’m not sure how tall you are, (you seem pretty tall) but I usually get ankle pants to lengthen my legs. I’m only 4’11″ so, an extra inch on my pants actually makes a big difference!

Love this look- especially the clutch! It adds a fun element to an otherwise chic and streamlined look!
