Mixing Metals

It’s been quite a while since my last post and I’m happy to be back! In between traveling and working in Alabama, I got so behind with editing pictures and posts that I decided to take a hiatus from blogging. I’m happy to say I’m all caught up and ready to post much more frequently! I shot this look on gloomy day, I always have the urge to wear all white when the weather is bad in hopes that it’ll brighten up my day. Or perhaps I just love wearing white on white all the time. Regardless, I decided to spice it up with my favorite silver brogues and stacked on the gold jewelry. Whenever I wear simple, monochromatic outfits I take the chance to pile on accessories, keeping in mind that I’m just adding sparkle to a solid canvas. I love mixing gold and silver, despite popular belief that the two don’t go together.

Thank you so much for reading!

Love, H

Yay, so happy you’ll get back to posting!! I LOVE those brogues!! Been looking for a nice pair of silver oxfords myself because I only have cheapy crappy ones! You’re stunning in all white, I love that shot against the salmon-colored wall!

I’m always hesitant to mix silver and gold myself, but I think you nailed it especially with your watch which ties it all together nicely =)
