Pajama Dressing

On different occasions, I have asked my friends what they think of the shirt and shorts separately and the response was always something along of the lines of “it looks like pj’s”.  Well, I can’t blame them, I initially thought the same. So why not pair them together for a dressed up “pajama look”?
I have an affinity towards anything black &white, silk or loose fitting and both of these items were all of the above.
The contrast piping on the shirt along the collar, placket and cuff is a standout detail on a classic white blouse.
And when I saw these shorts, I was in love with how soft and lightweight they felt. They could be easily dressed up with a blazer and heels or down with a summer sweater, espadrilles and hat. The possibilities are endless.
I added touches of silver to dress up the ensemble and keep a cool daytime look that can easily transition into night.
When I shop, I purchases pieces that I can wear year-round and can be styled numerous ways. There’s no doubt both of these pieces will be in heavy rotation and I’m excited to style them again on the blog!
Thank you so much for reading!
