Plaid made a comeback this weekend and there’s nothing more refreshing that a modern take on a classic piece. The cut out detail of this top is subtly sexy and just the right amount of skin if you’re like me and hate being entirely bundled up.

I love how this top can effortlessly  transition from day to night. This is the second part of my East vs. West Coast Style Series featuring Charlotte Russe  with the beautiful Joann!  Try her chic casual daytime look with a statement scarf and riding boots (see more of her look here).  Or add classic pumps and a pencil skirt, topped with a leather moto jacket for a night out!

P.S. love this two toned branch necklace I’m wearing, so into dainty jewelry right now and love the rustic feel of this piece!

Thank you so much for reading! Love, H

I think you could take a plain, old plaid top to a seamstress and have the same cut out detail put in… Saving a little money and even more by doing it yourself!
